Some Indian scripts such as Devanagari, Malayalam and Bengali use a lot of ligatures (combination of two or more consonants). But, not all the fonts may support all the ligatures of a script. So, if you think the rendering of a consonant combination is incorrect, It may be just due to the limitation of the font. In such a case, you should find and use a font which has the ligature you are looking for. Baraha fonts support all the ligatures that are commonly used in Indian languages.
